Supporting the NEHGS Fall Dinner Featuring Historian Joseph J. Ellis
Welch & Forbes is proud to have supported as a benefactor the New England Historic Genealogical Society’s (NEHGS) Fall Family History Benefit Dinner held on October 24, 2019.
The Fall Family History Benefit Dinner featured Historian Joseph J. Ellis in conversation with NEHGS Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Stacy Schiff at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The New England Historic Genealogical Society characterizes Joseph J. Ellis as “the author of many acclaimed works of American history including Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation, which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize, and American Sphinx: The Character of Thomas Jefferson, which won the National Book Award. His most recent work, American Dialogue: The Founders and Us, examines the relevance of the views of the founding fathers to issues in America today and how their insights can help frame discussions about race, economic inequality, jurisprudence, and foreign policy.”
